State of Alaska, Department of Family and Community Services, IT Customer Services - Microcomputer/Network Technician

The IT Customer Services Technician Intern will be responsible for delivering technical support and assistance to users of information technology systems within the State of Alaska Department of Family and Community Services. This internship position plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient development of newer IT staff post military service by enhancing the organizations resolution of technical issues.

DOD Skillbridge Intern.1. Assist in technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues.2. When ready, respond to and resolve user inquiries, incidents, and service requests in a courteous and efficient manner.3. Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.4. Perform software installations, updates, and upgrades.5. Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.6. Learn compliance with IT policies, procedures, and standards.7. Participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned.
