The objective of The CyberWire Veteran Fellowship Program is to provide transitioning Service Members and Veterans a 15 week job skills training program centered on learning to lead across business departments including marketing, operations, strategy, management, engineering, and sales in a technology startup, as well as work roles specific to New Media companies such as media production, content creation and writing, content strategy, and sound engineering.

The CyberWire Veteran Fellowship Program is intended to lead to entry- and mid-level work roles in business operations, marketing, sales, content creation and writing, sound engineering, media production, and business strategy.
