Job description:
As an entry-level Cybersecurity Specialist, graduates may support information technology and security teams by assisting with monitoring systems for security threats, implementing basic security controls, supporting incident response activities, maintaining security documentation, and promoting cybersecurity best practices. Typical duties include reviewing logs, assisting with vulnerability mitigation, supporting compliance efforts, and helping protect organizational data and systems. Graduates are prepared for roles such as cybersecurity technician, information security analyst (junior), security operations center (SOC) analyst (entry-level), or IT security support specialist.
This SkillBridge program is provided at no cost to eligible service members. Instructional materials, lab access, and required tools are provided through the program. Participation is contingent upon command approval and DoD SkillBridge eligibility.
