Job description:
JRC is currently seeking a Contracts Program Manager. This position will have primary responsibility of serving as our DOD customer and will work out of our Huntsville, AL office. Key Duties:• Responsibilities include:• Plan, organize, direct, and control all contractor personnel to ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled, quality standards are met, and associated expectations of performance are achieved.• Ensure funding requirements are identified, subcontractors are identified and utilize statements of work, financial tracking and associated burn rates are maintained within established budgets and other areas as required.• Provide strategic, facilitative, and decision support services. Analyze existing problems, identify/assess alternative sustainment, enhancement strategies, provide recommendations, and assist in defining requirements for future programs.• Interface with the Government customer to ensure quality and expectations are met, and proper procedures are followed per the customer's instructions.• Prepare Delivery and Purchase Order Modifications that detail scope and various funding line requirements.• Maintains comprehensive contractual records and periodically monitors progress of all goods and services agreements, from inception through completion, to enforce milestones, deliverables, and post contract warranties.General Skills/Attributes:• Must be a motivated self-starter who can effectively lead a team of personnel in a challenging work environment; able to handle multiple concurrent taskings and maintain professional relationships with our customer and the end user; a resourceful problem starter; have strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail with a focus on quality results.• Ability to respect and work with customer country customs, etiquette and business practices.• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.).• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Skilled in use of Microsoft Office products.• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearanceSpecific Skills/Qualifications:Required• Bachelor's degree• 10 years DOD and or Military acquisition experience• Secret Security Clearance
