Summary description:
Social Media Coordinator – Responsible for developing modern and engaging social media content to support LESD's external and internal communications goals and initiatives. Responsibilities include drafting, clearing, and posting social media content (i.e. photos/videos) on behalf of LESD senior leadership and LESD operations. Will be responsible for creating a constant flow of relevant social media content.Strategic Communications – Assists with managing the day-to-day writing and editing communication materials such as articles, newsletters, internal and external website content, news releases, brochures, pamphlets, posters, flyers, informational graphics, communication plans, talking points, and scripts. Must be able to use industry standard graphic design software and programs to produce graphic design work, such as the programs contained in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.Photography/Videography – Responsible for taking expert photos and videos of in-person LESD engagements for internal and external use on social media, website content, and/or graphic design. Must be able to utilize a variety of cameras and industry standard editing software, such as the programs contained in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.External Outreach – Responsible for administering and performing work involved in establishing and maintaining mutual communication between Federal agencies, the public and various other pertinent publics including internal or external, foreign, or domestic audiences. Will assist with LESD site visits and tours, to include photography/videography of the events as well as any logistical assistance.
