Job description:
The purpose of the Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) is to provide individualized investment advice to clients. The IAR has a fiduciary duty to act in the best interest of each client. The business manager's purpose is to understand and handle operational business requirements. It is important to set both strategic and tactical goals while leading others to achieve set goals.
Soaring Investment Management is an investment advisor that conducts discretionary portfolio management for clients. Soaring Investment Management also manages a proprietary portfolio and wholly owned businesses. The primary roles for this apprenticeship to help Service members transition from the military to civilian employment include two-fold: Business Manager - As one of our business managers, you would be responsible for all business operations, business goal setting, and strategic and tactical objectives for business growth and success. You would make daily operational decisions regarding inventory, products, and sales growth. You would also be working closely with each contractor that provides service to the business such as Marketing Management, Google Advertising Management, and Affiliate Management. Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) - As an IAR, you would be required to sit for the Series 65 Securities and Exchange Commision (SEC) exam. A portion of your apprenticeship would be dedicated to studying and passing the Series 65 exam. As an IAR, you would be responsible for acquiring new clients and conducting client investment advice. You would have a fiduciary duty to make decisions in the best interest of the client. Potential candidates must have a great attitude and strong work ethic with an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred). The candidate will be required to pass Series exam(s) administered by Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
