A Polyurea Spray Technician applies protective, waterproof coatings to surfaces (concrete, steel) using specialized high-pressure, plural-component equipment. They handle surface preparation, chemical mixing, equipment maintenance, and spray application, ensuring high-quality, durable finishes while strictly adhering to safety standards. Applicant must have a genuine desire to learn about our company's products and services. Must work well on a team as well as working alone, and have a friendly, positive attitude.
Surface Preparation: Prepares surfaces by cleaning, grinding, sandblasting, and masking to ensure proper adhesion.Spray Application: Operates high-pressure, plural component systems to apply polyurea evenly.Equipment Maintenance: Cleans, maintains, and troubleshoots spray guns, pumps, and hoses daily.Material Management: Handles and mixes A and B chemical components according to specifications.Able to lift 50 lbsInsure that all shop equipment, (PPE) Personal Protection Equipment, is maintained and ready for operation/ usePrepare vehicles for application; parts removal/replace, cleaning, masking, sanding, sand blasting, etc.Properly apply Polyurea product to truck beds and any other scheduled applications, as necessaryStay current with new techniques and spray applicationsReport what parts and supplies are needed for operationPrevious Installation skills preferred.Demonstrates the ability to carry out specified work procedures and follow detailed written instructions to install a variety of accessories.Capable of using power tools, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and understanding technical direction.Experience with car body work and painting is helpful but not required.Must be a self starter, problem solver, and team player.Applicants must have good customer relation skills, the ability to learn new information, and multitaskMust keep work areas clean and clutter free.
