As a SkillBridge fellow at Sagent, within the Human Resources Coordinator Fellowship Program, you will have the opportunity to utilize skills homed in Active-Duty service in a technologically and administrative advanced environment that supports and encourages continuous learning. In this role, you will work alongside industry leaders and experts in the fields of Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and multiple HRCIS and ATS systems. The candidate will also train with a TWC-licensed HR instructor that will help your military transition into the civilian sector.
Job description:
The position is for a Human Resource Coordinator with the potential of becoming a permanent hire at the end of the cohort. This is an on-site position, and you will work directly with the HR Manager, along with an HR firm. Under the framework of the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program, Sagent hosts active-duty US military members for skilled employment training for up to the final 6 months of active duty obligated service. Any rank, enlisted or officer, may apply for SkillBridge. SkillBridge participants are not eligible for compensation from Sagent, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members. Your unit Commander must authorize participation prior to the start of the internship.⭐Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions⭐Attend weekly HR classes virtually⭐Train daily with Human Resource Manager⭐Learn full-cycle recruiting⭐Become familiar with ATS and HRIS systems and processes
