Job description:
The SkillBridge intern will train to become a licensed Insurance Agent with responsibilities in both sales and service roles. Duties include:*Learning to quote and bind insurance policies using Allstate platforms*Communicating with prospects and clients to assess coverage needs*Participating in lead generation, follow-up, and bundling strategies*Handling billing inquiries, policy servicing, and basic claims support*Assisting with client retention and renewal outreach*Gaining familiarity with state insurance regulations and agency compliance*Preparing for and completing the Texas General Lines – Property & Casualty licensing examAll work is performed under the direct supervision of experienced agents, with a clear path to full-time employment for successful participants.
This position is offered as a hybrid opportunity, combining both in-person and remote training. Participants will complete portions of their training virtually, including licensing coursework and mentorship check-ins, while also attending scheduled in-person sessions at our agency office in Katy, Texas, a suburb west of Houston. This blended format ensures hands-on experience while providing flexibility and full access to training resources.
