As an Information Security Intern, you will embark on a comprehensive 6-month internship journey that will immerse you in the intricacies of Security Operations. We offer a hands-on experience where you will actively participate in real-world projects, applying cutting-edge tools and methodologies in the rapidly evolving realm of cybersecurity.

This role will support the team in developing and maintaining a robust and secure IT infrastructure, aligned with the company’s strategic goals. This role involves assisting in the evaluation, design, and implementation of security measures across our enterprise architecture to protect against evolving cyber threats. The intern will gain hands-on experience in the intersection of cybersecurity and enterprise architecture, contributing to projects that enhance the organization’s digital resilience and operational efficiency.Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Data Analysis and Reporting - Collect, organize, and analyze data relevant to Enterprise Architecture. Utilizing commercial security tools to perform tasks such as correlating server information.Hands-on Project Involvement - Participate in ongoing projects, applying commercial security tools to identify potentially unprotected servers and assisting in workflow security enhancements.Technical Training & Expertise - Shadowing senior engineers for technical training to develop information security technical skills. Review your training plan with your workgroups SkillBridge Program Manager and the direct report Manager on a monthly basis to ensure that training aligns with partner needs and overall product strategy.Architectural Planning and Feedback - Assist in creating detailed cloud diagrams and architectural plans with a strong Information Security presence. Participate in review sessions to provide and receive feedback on improvements.Enterprise Architecture Security Hardening - Learn and apply advanced security measures, improving QuidelOrtho’s Information Security footprint.
