The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for effectively assisting the Account Manager with the portfolio of business for assigned accounts. Takes ownership in all aspects of freight movement while establishing relationships and striving for exceptional customer service. Responsible for carrier qualification, assignment and management through the lifecycle of each shipment. The BDE is responsible for new business development to include cold calling, CRM responsibilities, follow up and any other activities deemed necessary to ensure goals and objectives are met. Takes ownership of all aspects of their client base including KPI reviews, problem solving, rate reviews and any other activities their clients request. Total client ownership while establishing strategic account relationships and striving for exceptional customer service. People management responsibility as it relates to customer work flow and establishing processes for staff to follow that will ensure an excellent customer experience.

The skillsets provided through our internship can lead to a huge variety of careers in the material moving side of Transportation and Logisitics. This program will give the candidate a solid background in brokerage, intermodal and fleet distribution, including warehousing and supply chain management skills.
