This Skillbridge program transitions a military instructor pilot to a civilian Instructor Pilot and site Operations Manager for conduct of commercial flight operations.
Job description:
At a minimum, the intern will complete Commercial Instrument and CFI training and be able to transition into a CFI job with any flight school in the nation. Student will have gained approximately 25.0 flight hours of turbine-engine time. Multiple evaluations of the intern’s performance will be conducted, and with successful completion of the entire program, the intern can reasonably expect a job offer as a flight instructor and/or Operations Manager with a commercial flight training contractor. Salary and benefits will be discussed and planned according to the intern’s skill level.
