Maryland Department of Natural Resources MD DNR - MD DNR, Maryland Conservation Corps

The Maryland Conservation Corps (MCC) is an award-winning AmeriCorps program that engages young adults in extensive natural resource management and park conservation projects. The mission of the program is to provide young adults with opportunities for service in the community and the environment by preserving, protecting, enhancing, and restoring Maryland’s natural resources.

Positions in the environmental or public service fields, including Park Ranger, Park Technician or Maintenance Worker. Experience may include minor construction work, facility maintenance, chainsaw training and hands-on experience, trail maintenance, customer service and natural resource interpretive programming, pesticide application, and more.
