The UAS Operations Manager supports the planning, coordination, and oversight of commercial unmanned aircraft system (UAS) operations within a regulated aviation and field operations environment. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with FAA and applicable ground transportation regulations, implementing safety management practices, coordinating personnel and equipment resources, and maintaining accurate operational documentation. The position provides hands-on experience in operational leadership, risk management, logistics coordination, and performance oversight, preparing participants for civilian careers in UAS program management, aviation operations, and field-based leadership roles.

Position OverviewThe UAS Operations Manager supports the planning, coordination, and oversight of commercial unmanned aircraft system (UAS) operations in a regulated aviation and field environment. This position assists in ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, safety management, and effective coordination of personnel and equipment resources.
