The SkillBridge Locator maps Department of War (DoW) SkillBridge internships and employer-managed listings across the United States, so transitioning servicemembers can find programs near their current base, near where they're PCSing, or fully remote.
As of August 25, 2026, CareerPCS's published base guides cover 4,063 distinct SkillBridge programs from 2,364 organizations within 50 miles of 237 installations across 50 states. The directory also includes 2,074 remote and nationwide programs.
CareerPCS combines employer-managed opportunities with listings sourced from the official DoW SkillBridge directory. DoW-sourced listings are limited to postings DoW marked active at our latest check — refreshed nightly, last checked August 25, 2026. The verified badge marks a listing an employer actively manages here; unbadged listings may be employer-posted or sourced from the DoW directory. Start and track applications through CareerPCS. Search by keyword or location, and filter by industry, program length, delivery method, and listing source.
Some listings show a typical pay range. We match the listing to an occupation, then show what workers in that occupation earn in that state — from U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data (OEWS, May 2025). It's the going rate for that line of work, not this employer's offer or a prediction of your pay. How salary benchmarks work.

This SkillBridge opportunity is offered through Lux Capital and will be hosted at Valthos, an applied biological intelligence company in Lux Capital's portfolio. The Business Operations Generalist will work directly alongside Valthos's Head of Operations and founders. This is a generalist role by design: on any given day you might troubleshoot an office issue before lunch, build a financial model for the board deck after, and project-manage a vendor onboarding by end of day. You will own projects end-to-end from definition to implementation across finance, recruiting, people, legal, facilities, and IT, while being trusted with some of the company's most sensitive and strategic decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong financial and analytical fluency in Excel, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, and a bias to action. The position offers direct exposure to company-building, fundraising, and the operational spine of a fast-growing deep tech startup, with the opportunity to seed an entire function over time. This role is based at our New York City office.
Job description:
Own the company's day-to-day operations end-to-end (facilities, IT, office and vendor management, and travel) to keep the team productive. Build and maintain the company's financial backbone: construct financial models, scenario-plan budget and runway, partner with external accounting on close, and run spend, payroll, and treasury. Stand up core business infrastructure, including equity administration, benefits, payroll, corporate policies, compliance, and vendor systems, choosing tools pragmatically as the company scales. Support recruiting and people operations end-to-end (e.g., candidates, scheduling, and managing offers and onboarding) and help shape company culture and operating cadence. Lead cross-functional special projects (from standing up security and clearance workflows to opening offices and running offsites), provide operational support to commercial and government engagements, and serve as the operational face of the company with investors, vendors, and partners.
