Examples of Duties:• Work with internal and external partners to assist with recruitment, workshops, and meetings, and develop templates, professional development, and training plans• Coordinate the SkillBridge program across 5 departments, answering questions, advising individuals and departments, and monitoring the inbox and excel tracker daily• Support special projects across the HR Department to understand other divisions’ roles and responsibilities• Collaborate with high schools, local community colleges, community-based organizations, cities, and districts to administer County programs & benefitsTraining Outcomes:• Learn employee engagement and team collaboration strategies• Ability to establish and maintain partnerships with community and Government agencies• Strengthen knowledge in administrative and clerical transferable skills for career goals• Understanding of County operations and structureQualifications/Ability to:• Develop rapport and maintain effective working relationships with staff and external contacts at all levels with diverse backgrounds• Work independently and exercise sound judgement• Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing• Possess analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills• Readiness to learn and utilize computer software (e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and job specific applications/systems
