Job description:
The General Mills Manufacturing Technician is a Highly Technical, Independent Equipment Operator and Mechanic. The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the continuous operation of manufacturing equipment as well as conducting autonomous maintenance to keep equipment running. The Manufacturing Technician has ownership in Start-Up, Production Changeovers, and Shutdown of Operating Equipment. Preventative maintenance may include removing and replacing motors, starters, belts, bearings, chains, and other manufacturing parts. Additionally, the Manufacturing Technician is a Continuous Learner and Trainer. The Manufacturing Technician wants to learn and building the capability of fellow technicians through mentorship and training.
