Job description:
Every day as an Electrical Lineworker will be filled with new challenges and responsibilities, involving the maintenance, operation, and construction of high-voltage lines and equipment. You will frequently work in elevated positions utilizing the most up-to-date safety gear and operate heavy machinery such as cranes, boom trucks, and digger derricks. Additionally, you will serve as a first responder to restore power following natural disasters and incidental outages, playing a key role in building the smart and intelligent grid of the future.
The cost of the program is $25,708 and students may use their Post-9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33).

Applicants must be 18+ by the start of their term and possess a high school diploma or GED. Candidates are required to hold a valid driver's license and must be eligible to obtain a Class A commercial driver's license (CDL), which typically includes having no felony convictions. Applicants must provide proof of current medical insurance that remains valid for the duration of the program and be physically and mentally fit to participate, as verified by a Department of Transportation (DOT) medical exam or official medical release form. Due to the weight restrictions of fall protection equipment, students must weigh no more than 270 pounds. The enrollment process also involves completing an online application and submitting the necessary documentation, including transcripts and medical forms.
