This Skillbridge program transitions a military instructor pilot to a civilian instructor pilot conducting commercial flight operations.

At a minimum, the trainee will complete Commercial Instrument and CFI training and be able to transition into a CFI job with any flight school in the nation. . Student will have gained approximately 25.0 flight hours of turbine-engine time in the C-208 aircraft. Multiple evaluations of the trainee’s performance will be conducted. Depending on the trainee's skill level, attitude and overall performance in the program, trainee may be offered a job with KBFS upon program completion. Salary and benefits will be discussed and planned according to the intern’s skill level.
