As a part of the Supply Chain Development Program, this internship is a unique opportunity for transitioning service members to immerse themselves in a civilian supply chain operation.Key Responsibilities Include:- Ensure daily accountability of inventory, and maintain required stock levels- Coordinate purchase orders with the Maintenance department to maintain inventory- Manage core exchange program with established vendors- Ship consignment inventory to operational locations during AOG event- Track and report on both inbound & outbound shipments - Ensure part traceability is established and documented correctly- Maintain inventory and aircraft part records using the provided software- Create shipping labels for parts, tools, and equipment when needed - Evaluate and determine the most efficient shipping route and method- Respond to emails/calls from customers, carriers, and vendorsIntern Requirements: These requirements will also match the requirements of the job title this program is designed to prepare participants to enter post-separation.- Receive commander approval and be within 180 days of separation/retirement to participate in the Legends Airways SkillBridge internship. - At least 24 months of practical experience in performing duties related to inventory management or supply chain operations.- An applicable MOS or AFSC in Logistics Management or a similar field.- Ability to work collaboratively with aircraft maintainers, partnered companies, company leadership as well as independently.
