The Director of Strategy and Operations (DSO) will provide direct support to the Group Manger by working with the Operations’ Managers, Sector leadership, and group personnel to ensure strategic growth in the Group. This will include sucessfully tracking and reporting of all strategic growth opportunities, including continuous updates to databases, reports, and briefings and leading bi-weekly status meetings. The DSO will ensure that all opportunities pursuits progress, moving them to the next stage by ensuring tasks are completed as necessary. These tasks include market analyses/assessments, RFI/proposal development, capture planning, gate reviews The DSO may also travel to industry and customer events to represent corporate capabilities, establish strategic partnerships, and identify opportunities for pursuit.The DSO will provide direct support to the Group Manger to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Group, including: improving operational management systems, processes and best practices; standing in for the Group Manager when absent; developing, implementing, and reviewing operational policies and procedures; maintaining the Group battle rhythm calendar; organizing data calls to completion; collaborating with the Group Admin; ensuring action item tasking/tracking; collaborating with other Groups and buisness support functions; and supporting effective Group communication and employee-owner engagement.This is a highly visible position - the candidate is responsible for communicating at all levels including customer, employee and management team.
