    Summary description:
    At the completion of our program, Interns will demonstrate the ability to process FHA/VA and conventional loans in accordance with HUD/VA Fannie/Freddie Mac Guidelines, as well as organization guidelines. Interns will develop and apply skills in conducting initial pre-qualification interviews, time management in sending sensitive mandated disclosures. Additionally, they will learn, manage and maintain a pipeline of loans utilizing the Encompass Loan Operating System, respond to inquiries from Realtors, home builders, and clients developing the necessary skills in providing a stellar home buying experience. Instruction and mentorship will be provided in the skills, knowledge, and mindset necessary to collaborate with both internal and external partners to include marketing, sales, and transactional functions. Interns will possess the skills, knowledge and ability to obtain employment as a Loan Officer Assistant, Loan Officer, Loan Partner, or Business Development upon completion of our program. Interns will be prepared to take the Texas Savings and Mortgage Lending 23 hour class with knowledge gained through hands on training and in person class. Upon successful completion of the program they will be offered a position within or organization that they have trained for. In order to be a Loan Officer or Loan Partner they will need to successfully pass the Texas SML licensing course/test and apply for their license.

    We equip veterans with the knowledge, skills and training to ensure a proper transition into the civilian world. They will get hands on training and mentorship throughout the entire internship. Upon successful completion of the program they will be offered a position within or organization that they have trained for. In order to be a Loan Officer or Loan Partner they will need to successfully pass the Texas SML licensing course/test and apply for their license.
