Internship opportunities exist on the multiple current Infinity aerospace programs which may include the following: Global Positioning System (GPS) IIIF Space Segment Development. GPS On-Orbit Operations Support. GPS Engineering, Analysis & Remote Site Sustainment (GEARSS). Transitional Approach for Protected MILSATCOM (TAPM). *Note: Specific programs hiring interns may vary depending on contract considerations and program phase. Please contact Infinity Human Resources (HR) representatives for a list of specific programs offering internships. Internships typically run for 12 weeks. Extended internships will be considered based on company need and candidate availability. Primary Responsibilities: Use Digital Engineering tools for technical baseline management; define and allocate design and test requirements for the GPS satellite payloads. Conduct engineering analyses to solve complex design, performance, and integration challenges for the satellite and/or mission systems. Support architecture definition and performance modeling for satellite and/or mission systems including evaluation of primary and secondary mission aspects. Support satellite and/or mission system test and evaluation activities before, during and after system integration (subject to change based on program phase). Contribute to satellite engineering digital transformation initiatives including tasks in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) modeling and Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML) research and development projects. Support and contribute to technical interface discussions for satellite and/or mission systems including interacting with Government or supplier representatives. Practice aerospace industry-relevant technical writing and experience systems engineering processes in a real-world business environment. Attend meetings, prepare briefing charts, present topics of interest, and respond to action items as requested. Minimum Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to think critically to solve difficult problems and to learn to use new digital tools and engineering methods. Ability to collaborate positively in a team environment with people of different levels of experience and education and virtually in geographically disperse locations. Self-motivated with a willingness to learn. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of years of experience and education. Clearance Requirement: Secret or higher.
