Job description:
Develop new skills and/or transition existing skills in aircraft inspections, maintenance, and repairs by performing hands-on tasks under the guidance of skilled aircraft mechanics. Develop proficiencies in aircraft systems maintenance, structural repairs, advanced composites, avionics and electrical systems, engines, paint and coatings, as well as interiors and laminates on turboprop and jet aircraft while gaining knowledge in civilian airline, air cargo, and private aircraft documentation requirements.
Intern must provide basic personal hand tools required to perform aircraft maintenance. Tool list provided upon acceptance into 1 Vision Aviation’s Internship Program.

This position is open to all applicants regardless of previous experience. The internship duration is flexible and credit is allotted for prior related experience. Must meet FAA requirements of high school diploma (or equivalent), the ability to read and write in English, and submission to FAA/DOT drug and alcohol testing.
