Who YOU are and what YOU can become:

The Aftermarket Inventory / Business analyst supports activities, analysis and actions to determine and maintain appropriate inventory levels as needed to fulfill aftermarket business needs, spare parts and emergent customer needs. This includes monitoring consumption and other usage demands as well as inbound requisition to ensure product availability, minimize inventory and support on-time delivery.

 

What YOU will do:

  • Collaborate with procurement and fulfillment staff to conduct sales forecast analysis to ensure forecasting, ordering and stocking efforts will meet routine or urgent customer demand and inventory targets.

  • Monitor and analyze sales trends. Develop department data bases and reporting dashboards to provide appropriate visibility to inventory and OTD issues. Maintain historical data.

  • Assist in root cause analysis on inventory and on time delivery misses.

  • Monitor/Report on open sales order, inventory and delivery metrics.

  • Establish, maintain and communicate a comprehensive material status, shortage identification and resolution options.

  • Provide daily support to Aftermarket Support business operations to include working with the business’s external partners.

  • Effectively coordinate internal inventory communications and movements with various depts.

  • Support status briefs for management, work on special issues, projects or presentations.

  • Support various business office functions, such as proposal, quotation, CM calculation as required to support the Aftermarket business endeavors.

 

What YOU must bring to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of Data Management and Supply Chain experience required.

  • Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft /excel.  

  • Knowledge of business processes.

  • Ability to facilitate meetings and teleconferences and attain results with minimal guidance.

  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives. Self-starter

  • Ability to handle multiple event problems or projects. Open to changing processes and goals 

 

Preferences

  • Experience with SAP or similar system is highly desired. 

  • Experience in Python programming language. 1+ year

  • Experience in either high dollar or high-volume manufacturing sales order management (aviation, automotive, electronics) 1+ year

Estimate salary range for this role: $63,500 to  $93,000 per year. ST Engineering considers several factors with extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, education/training/certification, job level, and work location. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
