Description:
Learn the fundamentals of product management in a dynamic startup environment. This unique role offers hands-on experience managing both software and hardware products in the emerging electric vehicle infrastructure space. You'll work directly with battery engineers, scientists, and business leaders to develop and execute ideas that improve Safire's product portfolio. This position provides invaluable pre-MBA style experience in how innovative technology companies bring products to market while balancing commercial and government requirements.
Responsibilities:
Participate in the complete product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch
Conduct customer and market research to inform product decisions
Write and manage product requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile sprints
Perform QA/testing activities
Develop and maintain project documentation
Engage in stakeholder management across commercial and defense sectors
Contribute to proposal writing and business development
Support user-centered design processes
Assist in managing project budgets and timelines
Qualifications:
Active duty service member eligible for the DoD SkillBridge program
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Prior experience in project management is a plus
Interest in technology and innovation
Ability to work remotely while maintaining high engagement
Secret clearance preferred but not required
