The Vestas training program provides an education on the rapidly growing wind industry. Participants will learn working at heights safety, wind turbine operation, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures. The curriculum will consist of 3 weeks of formal classroom training in Portland, OR, followed by on the job training at a wind park for the rest of the duration of the Skillbridge internship. Lodging is provided by the company at the training center and the wind farm training assignment.
