Summary description:
The AMP Tech training program provides the participants with an on the job training (OJT) rotation. Beginning with Equipment Associate training to become familiar with the equipment and earning required safety and equipment operation certificates. Upon completion, participants progress into Service Technician training. In these modules each participant gains exposure to our inspection, basic maintenance procedures and demonstrate diagnostic/troubleshooting skills under the supervision of a senior level technician. Participants will learn our internal enterprise system (RentalMan) to perform equipment service status updates and other functions. The job rotation includes an opportunity job shadow with the Sr. Technicians, Service Manager, and a ride along with a Field Service Technician. This provides an opportunity to gain valuable trade skills and insights to higher level roles within the technician career path.

As a Service Tech Intern you’ll use your skills to perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and minor repairs of equipment in a safe and professional manner. Like every member of our team, we will rely on you to provide exceptional customer service to our customers.What you'll doPerform maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair of rental equipment and tools involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systemsMaintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basisDemonstrate a wide array of complex equipment for customersOther duties assigned as needed
