Cyber Defense: Network+ Security
Cyber Defense students will successfully prepare to take the industry certifications Security+ and Network+. This course will focus on repairing, servicing and upgrading computers and peripherals, network theory, network implementations, network security basics, and test taking skills. Other topics include computer hardware, operating systems, network installations and configuration, security planning, access systems, cryptography, and troubleshooting. Interview techniques and resume writing are also covered.

This 9-week course is designed to provide specific aspects of building and maintaining electrical power circuits and equipment for overhead and underground construction.
This course is an nine (9) week program which provides training in the first phase of the EMT career structure. Topics include basic emergency care skills, such as defibrillation, airway maintenance, CPR, spinal immobilization, bleeding control, and fracture management. This class exceeds National Registry stand for EMT certification. Upon completion of this course, students will be eligible to take the North Carolina State and/or National Registry Certification Exams.This course also incorporates a Human Resource Development (HRD) session which assists in civilian resume writing as well as techniques and etiquette tips for interviewing.
Fayetteville Technical Community College - Transition Tech (Structural Welding)
This Mobile Structural & Pipe Welding course provides instruction on the principles and practices of welding. Emphasis is on the welding processes such as SMAW (stick), GMAW (mig), TAW (tig), and oxyacetylene welding. Additional topics include human resource development, OSHA 30 Construction, and small business set-up.

This training program prepares students to enter the field of commercial and residential solar energy generation as System Installer Apprentices. Participants will gain specialized expertise in the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB) framework, focusing on the SMAIC process to driver operational efficiency, alongside the OSHA 30-General Industry standards for advanced hazard recognition and safety supervision. Additionally, the course provides technical instruction on the operation and maintenance of industrial forklift (seated and standing), including design, instrumentation, pre-use inspection and stability.
