The available position is for a Director of the Distribution Center, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role at the end of the cohort. As a candidate, you'll receive training and direct mentorship from the Vice President of Logistics.Our Sagent DoD SkillBridge program welcomes applicants from all military ranks, whether enlisted or officer. We take pride in supporting our nation's service members as they transition from active duty to civilian life by providing industry-specific training during the final six months of their service. Throughout the program, participants will continue to receive military compensation and benefits from the Department of Defense. The candidate will be trained for 26 weeks by a TWC (Texas Workforce Commission) licensed instructor in the Human Resources field.Sagent DoD SkillBridge program is open to all ranks, enlisted or officer. We are proud to help our nation’s service members transition from active duty to civilian life through specific industry training during the end of their service, up to 6 months. Service members will continue to receive military compensation and benefits through the Department of Defense. Upon completing the program, we aim to bring on every service member as a full-time employee.Goals- Provide transitioning service members fellowship-style job skills training during their military commitment's last portion(s). This program is specifically designed to offer internships that result in the potential to transition to a full-time opportunity at the conclusion of the training. Interns will serve as a pipeline for motivated military candidates into Sagent.
As a SkillBridge fellow at Sagent, within the Safety Coordinator Fellowship Program, you will be able to utilize skills homed in Active-Duty service in a technologically, administrative, and safety-advanced environment that supports and encourages continuous learning. In this role, you will work alongside industry leaders and Safety, OSHA, Training, Engineering, and Human Resources experts. The candidate will also train with a TWC licensed Safety Instructor that will help your military transition into the civilian sector.
