Summary description:
The Engineer will inspect, document, and analyze the electrical power system for commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities to determine appropriate designs considerations to meet the requirements of IEEE-Std 141 and NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) and 70E (Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace). The Engineer may use power engineering software models, SKM and ETAP, to to preform load flow, short circuit, protective device coordination, and arc-flash analysis.
Job description:
A position leading to long term employment, benefits, and certification as a State of Florida Professional Engineer (PE). Location is in Central Florida and most of our customers are within 6 hours of home base. If travel is necessary outside of Florida, then the company will issue a company credit card for such expenses.
Location is in the town of Middleton FL. Local travel from Charleston, SC to Key West, FL, to San Antonio, TX

US Navy Officer (O-3 or above), qualified Surface Warfare Office, Qualified Nuclear Reactor Watch Office, selected for Prospective Nuclear Engineering Officer course, served as Division Officer in Reactor Department, served in combat environment aboard ship (carrier or destroyer).
