We use the time prior to their finite internship dates to complete our required HR processes that also include a 3 to 5 month (on average) full CBP Background Investigation (BI) that MUST be completed prior to internship start dates.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for production and visualization matters, lending their subject matter expertise to various CBP program offices’ leadership on the various media available for presenting information and communicating a specific message. This includes but is not limited to electronic layout, design, and display of various visual materials using photographs, illustrations, diagrams, graphs, maps, charts, etc. Selects, plans, and determines appropriate presentation of visual products for communicating information and analysis in a concise and engaging manner that attracts readers’ attention while contributing to the clarity of an analytic product. Develops and designs attractive visual displays that connect with the customer, including pamphlets, posters, infographics, newsletters, videos, and web pages.
