The program will be an in depth immersion into the operations of federal agencies in the Eastern US Region, and provide training, knowledge, and experience opportunities within Workforce Building and Succession Management; Cultivating Innovative Organizations; Fostering Coalitions; and Organizational Performance Improvement.
Job description:
• Undergo training commiserate with knowledge, training and professional level, that gives the applicant experience in key areas of the federal work force, giving the applicant to be a competitive advantage when applying for federal positions• Facilitate, plan, and execute small & large interagency projects, program tasks, and events; e.g. federal job/ career fairs, outreach activities, speaking engagements • Provide communication between Federal agencies during emergencies• Provide assistance administrating councils of excellence, leadership, training, and awards programs• Connecting with the local community and outreach projects• Facilitate local training for the Federal workforce to reduce travel dollars• Develop special skills & resources between agencies including mediation, trainings, translation support, and recruitment activities• Develop a strong federal resume and strong interview habits and techniques• Seek out mentorship opportunities to learn from Veterans currently within federal agencies.Opportunities available in New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA, Washington, DC and Boston, MA
