Review construction plans and perform field and laboratory testing on construction materials like concrete, asphalt, soil, and aggregates. Collect and prepare samples for analysis by precisely documenting observations and testing results. Effectively handle and input data using field and laboratory information systems to submit your daily reports. Ensure field and lab equipment are calibrated and comply with industry standards. Communicate with engineers, management, contractors, and clients to report project progress and address any issues to ensure project compliance with specifications and industry standards. With the use of Company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), this physically active job involves outdoor, hands-on work in all weather conditions. You'll be walking over rough terrain, standing for long periods, lifting and carrying 40-50 lbs. of materials and equipment, and safely handling field tools and maneuvering equipment on active construction sites. If you are hired upon completing the program, the compensation ranges from $20-25/hr plus overtime.
This program runs nationwide rather than in a single state, so there is no one state wage benchmark to show for it.
