Komatsu, a leading global manufacturer and distributor of mining and construction equipment, actively welcomes transitioning active duty service members to participate in internship opportunities at our dealerships/service centers, manufacturing facilities, and corporate campuses across the United States. Interns will receive job-specific training and will be evaluated for full-time positions with Komatsu. Internships start monthly based on service member availability and chain of command approval. Komatsu will provide transportation and lodging support for some internships. All interested service members and veterans can provide contact information by sending an email to the listed POC. Upon receipt of the email, a Komatsu military veteran will contact you to discuss potential opportunities.

Service Technicians are responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis and repair of Komatsu construction/mining equipment, including electric drive trucks/shovels, dozers, and excavators. Other technician internship opportunities include manufacturing production technicians, machinists, welders and instrumentation/control technicians. Support role opportunities include business analytics, finance, human resources and information technology.
