Serve as CBRN CMAD’s Senior Advisor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Radiological issues. Duties require knowledge of instrumentation, decontamination methods, health risk assessment and mitigation, toxicology, environmental policy, chemistry, and/or engineering.
Job description:
Perform technical program management activities in the larger context of emergency response operations and identify innovative response solutions for situations using classified (up to TS/SCI) and unclassified information. Field deployment may be required to support field assets and/or EPA emergency response activities.Serve as a national authority and Agency expert in the field of airborne spectral photometric Interact with other programs within EPA and other Federal Agencies and Departments on issues related to airborne remote sensing and chemical and radiological detection systems.Co-lead the EPA National Radiological Preparedness Group (NRPG) and lead the Radiation Task Force Leaders Program, assembling non-emergency response personnel to prepare them as a force-multiplier team capable of responding to radiological incidents.
