Within a smaller team the intern will act as a direct support for the chef and be able to perform various activities. As long as the chef requires help, he or she will facilitate the chef’s work and improve the quality of service. Within a bigger team and therefor into a more hierarchical working environment, tasks will be more framed. In both cases, activities can be more or less sophisticated according to his or her skills.
Job description:
Help in the preparation of dishes. Simple kitchen tasks: peeling, storing, cleaning, preparing. Learning how to present dishes, helping in the preparation of desserts and pastries. Making sure dishes are always clean, receiving and storing provisions. Sorting and cleaning the kitchen: floors, work surfaces, tools…
Eligibility factors:
All Services
High School diploma. Basic knowledge of cooking is a plus. Valid driver’s license, no criminal background, and able to work with tools.
